I love how they’re all different — that was part of the design criteria — for it to be a “platform” for creative material combinations.

I learned a lot about anodizing on this one. Green is hard to hit with my small power supply. On top of that, to anodize 6 pieces near exactly the same color green is even harder. The surface finishes of the pieces, the etching time and temp, how clean the piece is, whether you raise the voltage slowly or go straight to it, the size of the piece. All of these things seem to affect to outcome. I must have redone the anodizing on some pieces 5 or 6 times until I was satisfied. I’ve learned that anodizing is easy, but anodizing well is an art form.
