Yes the frame was heated to blacken the zirc, then etched to remove the color from the ti, then polished.

The fact that it’s a “fattie” is mainly the result of available stock thickness. If it’s thick I can leave it thick, or mill it down to standard thickness. This customer was all about leaving it thick.
